Gallery v1.4-pl1 Language Update Available
Submitted by Tim_j on Mon, 2003-10-06 16:12
This optional update to version 1.4-pl1 contains four new languages:
Bulgarian, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean and Hungarian.
In addition, translations for 11 other languages were updated.
This update is only to enhance the multi-language translations in version 1.4-pl1, and is entirely optional. If you are happy with Gallery v1.4-pl1, you don't need this update.
Get the language update from the Gallery Download Page.
NOTE: Since the 1.4-pl2 security update is now available, we urge everyone with versions 1.4 or 1.4-pl1 to upgrade to that version, which also contains this language pack update. For this reason, we've removed the "-lang1" patches from the download page.Note:
This optional update is intended only for users of v1.4-pl1.
If you're using v1.4 or earlier, please first update to v1.4-pl1. If you're using v1.4.1 from CVS, you do not need this update.
This update contains following changes:
* Fixed bug which caused Gallery not to properly detect the browser language in Opera
* New Languages: Bulgarian, Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Hungarian
* Language updates: German, Polish, Icelandic, Finnish, Czech, Hebrew, Turkish, Dutch, Spanish, Japanese, Traditional Chinese
* Changed charset for Czech to windows-1250

There doesn't seem to be a 1.4-pl1-lang1.tar.gz file on the sourceforge page. Or anything close to that.
Hello. You should upgrade instead to 1.4-pl2, which contains all of the language updates. Since 1.4-pl2 is a *security update*, you should be grabbing that. We've removed the language pack for this reason.
