Location of Gallery3 tags on the server

I am looking around on my gallery3 install and I know you can view All Tags in the admin section, but I want to be able to easily delete an entire set of tags and I figure editing the file which houses all of the tags may be a bit easier. I also would like to be able to create a script to easily edit and remove tags (the server runs kind of slow when I want to edit tags in Admin mode).

Can anyone tell me where the file that contains all of the tags is located on my install?

They are not contained in a file but the Database.
I don't recommend using a DB admin tool to delete items in the DB, but your welcome to try after you get a complete backup and test the backup.
