Not so hot on the heels of Gallery 2.0, here is a release of GR that fixes the compatibility issues when trying to connect to a G2 installation. This release is also still compatible with G1.

Through the lifetime of Gallery we have collected feature requests and bug reports on SourceForge.net and occassionally run a poll on this website to learn about our users. However, only those who religiously read our forums may have any detailed information about which new features are really the most wanted. Today we launch a new website feature to give users a stronger voice to tell the Gallery team which new features they want to see. Read about how the system works and then go vote!

We are incredibly pleased to announce the release of Gallery 2.0! Over three years of design and development have gone into creating the best online photo management product possible. Gallery 2.0 is the natural successor to Gallery 1, and we hope that you like what you see. Don't wait, download Gallery 2 now!

If you haven't seen it before, we've assembled some Gallery 2 screen shots that you can look at, hosted in a version of Gallery 2 that's embedded in this Drupal based website. Especially check out the highlights to get an idea of what you can do with Gallery 2's powerful theming system.

Gallery has a new website! It's been many months in the making and has taken a great deal of time from many people. We chose Drupal as our content management system and have transitioned all the data from our old website over to a shiny, new extremely fast server. The road to this new site has been long and rocky at times. Read more to hear the story of what we did and how we did it.

Gallery 1.5-pl1 is now available for download. It fixes several major security issues and it is strongly recommended that all users of 1.5 upgrade to this release immediately.

Gallery 1.5.1-RC3 is also now available for download. This release fixes several small issues discovered in the second Release Candidate including the security problems found in 1.5, and should be the final release candidate before 1.5.1.

This is the second release candidate of Gallery 2. If all goes well, the next release will be the final version. The purpose of this release candidate is to let the product cool for a couple of weeks so that we can identify any fix any last minute issues that you may discover. You should download and use it as if it were the final release.
