Dirkii, I guess the easiest way is to put it in "Blocks to show on album pages (below description)" if you wanna it permanently, or is there any difference?
Boner, are there any updates or improvements on the theme coming!? it's a really great theme in which there's still heaps of potential. It's IMHO the only usable floating theme available!

trying to integrate ICE theme into drupal (garland). no matter what drupal theme i use, when I set the layout to floating items, exactly like the demo .png image settings, there appears a gap underneath each row of pictures (between each picture is fine with square thumbs running).
the theme shows up fine as expecting in standalone gallery2 so it is obviously a css issue with the drupal theme.
need some help pin pointing the css issue - i've used the firefox webdev toolbar but to no avail.
HELP!

Hi Boner, I'm a big fan of your ICE theme, great work!
I'm using version 1.2.9 and am keen to upgrade to your new version 1.3.0.
How do I actually upgrade to the new version? On the Plugins page there are no 'Actions' (like deactivate, uninstall, delete, upgrade as shown with other themes) - see attached screen shot. Do I just overwrite the existing files in gallery2/themes/ice with the new files?

I have installed it on several G2 installations and just noticed that with Gallery 2.2.6 picLens stopped working
with 2.2.5 it was still fine:
Gallery version = 2.2.6 core 1.2.0.8
PHP version = 5.2.0-8+etch11 apache2handler
is there a workaround for this?

As I'd prefer to leave the theme mostly unmodified, can anyone tell me if there's a way to enable display of a photo's date directly on the photo page (and I don't mean the clickable photo info button)?

Nevermind, I found that I needed to check "Show item date (Album)" in the theme settings to get the date to appear on the Photo page as well. It would be nice to have a separate option for the Album level and the Photo level, but I'm happy enough now.

I agree, I also would like to find out how to move the description from the right side to underneath the photo! If the description is too long, the photo automaticaly moved towards the bottom of the page, looks wrong — if someone can help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm trying to use this theme embedded in an install of Drupal. It works ok, except that there is way too much space above the gallery. If I could eliminate the icons in the top left and everything else above that would be great. Anyone know which part of the theme files I need to edit to achieve this?

I would like to use your gallery commercially and would like to discuss a few things with you.
First of all, THANKS A LOOOOOOOOT for this theme, i love it, and that's what convinced me to use the Gallery 2 for my drupal website (i'm not good at changing themes, and most of standard drupal modules didn't look nice enough, but the result of Gallery2 + Ice theme (floating version) is just awesome)
As i mentionned, i use it embeded in Drupal (i followed more or less the "floating" configuration settings you had posted on the demo).
My problem is : there is a huge space above the photos when i get inside the album (cf attached file) -----> how can i change it ? besides, can i remove the title of the picture (i guess so but couldnt find where to set this) ?
Another question : how can i change the background color ? (for example from greyish to white or black ?)
And last but not least : is there a way to change something so that it gets to the next picture in the album when one clicks on the displayed picture ?
Thanks a lot in advance for your help and for the theme you developped and your maintenance on it

Just installed gallery 2.3 on my phpnuke 7.5, downloaded and installed Ice theme, and everything looked fine in FF.
But in IE, part of right hand side is cut off (see pic) and frames are not working.
Is this a theme problem, or related to phpnuke embedding?
Do I have to modify the theme when using it in nuked gallery? (I just downloaded and installed it, no mods)
Also, picLens does not work in my embedded gallery. It just opens the piclens wall displaying default (not mine) images

I've just created a new Gallery (version 2.3) based photo album using the ICE theme, version 1.3.0. Love it, everything is working well, I've been able to make it look like I'd like. I have some protected albums (Birthdays, weddings, family stuff, etc) that I've set up and that work well.
Now I'd like to be able to show that those albums are locked/protected for the ADMINs. Currently they look like any other album, and with ~400 albums, it's a bit hard for this old brain to remember which are and which are not locked.
Can anyone point the way to what to edit so this would show up with a "locked" icon (which I can create) when the album is locked and the user is an administrator?

I want to change the widht of the template instead of 100% I want to 900px and I prefer the template should be centered, I tried and tried but I do not know why I can no figure it out:

then I edited the theme.tpl located on themes/ice/template/theme.tpl

on that line I insert the align code but nothing happened, I also created a table and put all the code beteewn <body> </body> I put the width 900 also, and I can figure out the center position.

I want to show the photo's origination date on the right beneath the title (on the photo page). I can add in my own code to the photo.tpl file:

I have modified the latest version of the ICE theme to utilize CSS as much as possible & be fully XHMTL 1.1 (updated) compliant.
It can be validated at http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fgallery.infiniteknight.com%2Fmain.php
Note: It won't be compliant if formatted URLs are enabled. This seems to be an issue I'll have look into for the gallery code itself.

I love this theme! Though I have a small problem.
