Hi,

Is this stable for G_2.2.1 ? It was listed for earlier versions, but I noticed a few have tried it on 2.2 RC1. If you can give us an updated version would be excellent. I have to say this is the only theme that grabs my attention. Great Job!

It has been stable for me. The apostrophe item caught me for a while, but I dealt with that. Other than that, it works like a champ and I am very happy with it.

I have finally updated the theme to fix the apostrophe issue. You can download it here.

AllanB see if this resolves your issue. Other then that I think it's running good for everyone. If not let me know.

Uploaded ... deleted database and template caches ... and ...

Still having issues with apostrophes. The "Fatal error: cannot use string offset as an array" seems to have been resolved ... but when I put blocks to show on album pages, they don't. Blocks also don't show in lightbox.

Not sure why this has been so difficult to get it working properly!

AllanB,

Can you set one album to the greypop theme so I can take a look? Maybe you have some settings different then I do.

I added an apostrophe back in to the title "Reid's Run" in the first album. Go ahead and take a look.

NB: Just took another look and now the apostrophe issue seems ok.

But ... some blocks still don't show in sidebar/album etc.

Did you update the files for the lightbox module? What version of that module are you running?

Which blocks are you trying to use.

When I upgraded to 1.3.1, I upgraded all modules and theme in the zip file.

I tried putting the rating interface in the lightbox block with no luck. Actually, to my best recollection I have tried a number of them without success.

When using Ratings did you go under edit albums then in the album tab pick enable ratings? Try putting EXIF there and see if that one works.

Also download version 1.3.1 of the theme again and replace just the modules/lightbox folder. When I packaged it I had the old version of the module.

Yes, I have enabled ratings. I tried EXIF in the lightbox block and still no effect. I also noted earlier that the icons for the sidebar items (item actions) don't appear (the icons from Matrix) - just a drop-down box.

I downloaded 1.3.1 again and uploaded the Lightbox module.

Everything seems to be working fairly well now with the exception of the blocks.

Hi erverybody

I discoverd that the picture counter doesn't count when using lightbox with greypop. Its only counting when viewing via 'View photo page' and klicking the images directly in there. Is this a feature ore a 'bug'?

Another thing is, when having album pictures with more than one page. Lightbox changes the big size after reaching the page end with the next page pictures to middle sized view. Does anybody know this happening too?

Yeah I know about the lightbox and the picture count. There is a way to change it, but you have to modify a core file to do it so I don't since it gets overwritten everytime you upgrade G2.

As for the other issue you brought up I need a link and to know what size your resized images are to figure out what's wrong. There is a different piece of code that does the images on the current page then for the ones that are on different pages. I took both those examples from the work of others so I haven't tried to unify them.

Hi lvthunder
Could you post the code change for the first, please?

Here is an example for the second issue
grafkalli.de/g2/v/schrzeichen/SchrZ32s.jpg.html
go to next und you'll see the last picture on page in big size, another next push gives only a small or mediumsized image, even if it is bigger (proofed by View Photo Page and click).

Regards, Ian

As for the other issue I need more time with it.

Ian,

What size images do you want lightbox to show. Your pictures are a little small compared to what I use. I made the theme so that it uses the intermediate size. If that's what you want edit theme.inc and look for maxwidth I think it is and make that number lower. If you want it to be the largest size it requires a bit more modification.

Hi lvthunder

No, I don't think its a problem of maxwidth. Its an issue just after page breaks.
Normaly it would take the largest picture appearence and just checks via the maxwidth settings in theme.inc.
Everything works well, accept showing the pictures via lightbox NEXT button to the pictures from a following page. If you start lightbox on a second album page, anything is ok. If you take the PREV button back to the first page, you don't get the normal size.

But the code in theme.inc (the part where the maxwidth is) is suppost to grab the resized image not the big one. You have people who upload full size 8 megapixel images to their galleries so people can print them and what not. So the code is written to take the size of the image closest to 600 pixels (I think that's the number). The code used in the module which was written by someone else do it differently. It just grabs the resized and doesn't look at the size at all. I don't have much PHP experience so I've been kind of reluctant to change it too much. If you let me know which size you want in the lightbox I can tell you what to change to make it that way.

I've found this theme very stable and am very pleased. Love the lightbox integration.

I have had an issue with the icons not displaying properly with clean URLs turned on, wish my photos would display at a slightly larger size (though I'll try some things based on what I've read in this thread), or that visitors could get to the original size of the images.

jelyon did you upgrade to the latest version 1.3.1 of the theme. I think I've fixed the issue with clean urls and the lightbox icons.

I would like the pictures in lightbox to show in a width of 800 pixels. Changing the max width parameter in theme.inc did not change anything. It is still showing at 640 width. Any ideas where to change the code?

Thanks

The images are 800x533, but there are some that are 640x426 which should show at that size.
I guess, all images should show at their max resolution since I don't do larger than the 800 pixels.

Thanks!

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, but do the following.

In albumlight.tpl replace $child.resizedId with $child.id

and in the lightbox modules folder find before.tpl and after.tpl and replace $peer.resizeid with $peer.id

I downloaded and upgrade 1.3.1 from 1.2.2. But the lightbox is no longer working. The module lightbox is activated and the greypop theme is activated as well. I did check the checkbox to enable lightbox for this theme. But it's still not working. Did anyone experience similar problem and how to fix this? Or I miss something.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the lightbox module.

Love the Theme. Well done! I just have one bug I'm coming up with and it may not even be an issue with the theme but I'll try here first... If I activate lightbox and then try to upload an image to a gallery that is bigger than the size set in my settings and i.e. If I upload an image with a width of 600px and I have my max width set to 550 the image seems to upload correctly but when I go to look at the gallery in guest mode above the second thumbnail the following text appears

View Photo Page
rel="lightbox[photos]">

and the first thumbnail wont display at all. If I turn lightbox off everything works fine. Its nothing major as I can just resize all of the images to 550 before I upload but other people are going to be adding images so it complicates things a little.

Thanks

Can you give me a link to where this is happening. It probably is a bug in the theme that I can fix, but haven't run a crossed yet. It generally does that with stuff that has ' in them. It uses different parts of the theme code when the original image is above or below the max width.

Thanks, the gallery is installed at www.theflaws.com/gallery

Its the third gallery "Spirit Store - IMRO Showcase - Apr 05" which has an example of the error. Just to prove a point I've increased the max image size to 650 from 550 and uploaded the same image again and it works fine the second time.

I did but I was getting the problem before I updated it. All I edited in it was changing views/date/size to False and removing the title from the pictures. Regardless I have just extracted a fresh copy of it from a zip file and uploaded it and I'm still getting the same error.

Thanks for your help.

If I only add one image I get a longer string of code...

<a href="main.php?g2_itemId=263" rev="main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=265" title='
flaws_2

View Photo Page
rel="lightbox[photos]">

I dont know if this helps at all!?

I don't see any problems anymore finny. Did you find what was causing it or did you just work around it? If you worked around it do you have any modules installed that does anything with the thumbnails.

[/i]I'm using greypop as my theme, and it's configured to show random highlight at sidebar. [b]But if I click on the random highlight, I found the link is not generated correctly. It's something like http://xxx/main.php/v/<album name>/Array, instead of pointing to the album represented by that highlight.

The reason I think it's a greypop issue is that when I switch to matrix theme, the link is generated correctly.

Here is one example, http://www.snapchina.net/main.php/v/food_001/, see the random highlight picture at the sidebar, and its link is http://www.snapchina.net/main.php/v/food_001/Array, which yields a URL not found error when clicked.

Don't know whether it need some special greypop configuration, or just a bug. I'm not expert of PHP programming, so thanks for any help in advance :)

Hello,

I just downloaded and installed graypop131 and the lightbox plugin, but when I enable the template with the lightbox enabled I also have the rel="lightbox[photos]"> problem. Unless I missed some note where graypop131.zip is an upgrade only zip file I think it's an incomplete zip file. Sorry I don't use IE I use Firefox and it normally dosn't have problems downloading files. (if that problem still exists on site)

Anyways my reasoning is in your readme file (Yes I read it...some...) you have this:

If you are using the lightbox feature you need to edit /themes/greypop/js/lightbox.js to specify some image
locations (they are near the top).

In addition to the fact the js folder is missing, the psd is missing, and I don't know what else, but likely some other stuff... Also I couldn't install the imageframe plugin granted im new to gallery so I might have missed something, but everything else seams to be super simple with just upload and refresh required.

Also font's arn't included with PSD files and you can't edit whats included... If you have windows look in C:/windows/fonts/ and you should see something like bownormal.ttf which is the font you used if you wanted to include it with zip file.

So am I missing something or am I too asleep to notice some big fat work button?

No files are missing. I forgot to change the readme file about the lightbox stuff. You don't need to change anything anymore since I made lightbox a module now.

Basically how lightbox works is everything besides the picture in the pop-up is in the link. So if there is an apostrophe somewhere it will break and you'll see what your seeing. I've been trying to catch them all and replace them but it looks like I missed a spot. Can you provide me a link so I can try to figure out what's wrong.

Do you not see the imageframe plugin or are you having a problem with it? If you don't see it you can download it from the downloadable plugins tab at the top of the plugins page.

I didn't include the font because it's not free. You might be able to search the internet and find a shareware version though. You can also change it to anything you want.

Well that's what I call quick service!

I guess not needing the files is a good enough reason the leave them out :P

I wasn't able to see the imageframe plugin for some reason, but when I installed it from the online version it solved the problem. I guess it's a required plugin for use with the lightbox plugin.

I had a feeling the font wasn't free, but with all the decent ones out there it's getting harder to tell. I guess it's off to find a free version that looks as good as that one!

I guess posting a link is pointless now as everything works.

Thanks

Imageframe isn't a required plugin or at least it's not meant to be. All that means is the bug in the code is in the part that says if imageframe isn't set. Thanks for helping me narrow it down.

Hi, is it possible to support embeded gallery in drupal? in my drupal site, the lightbox wouldn't work in the embeded gallery and the frame border is broken.

How did you integrate drupal and gallery in your site?

It's been a while since I did the drupal integration. I know the imageframe looks to be off by one pixel or so, but I haven't figured out how to fix it. Here is the CSS file from the integration. I think I made some changes to it. Just rename the attachment to .css.

Thanks for your reply, I found what's wrong with it. After i moved the gallery's navigation block to drupal's sidebar, all seems to work.
