[SOLVED] How to remove Date,Size,Views under Album thumbnails, ..

I have been unable to make it work for me.
http://alumnihall.org/gallery.php

I changed:
showDate=true
to:
showDate=false
in both locations in album.tpl
Then I saved it in:
/themes/carbon/templates/local/album.tpl
Nothing changed.
I even tried saving it in:
/themes/carbon/templates/album.tpl

I still see the date.
What am I missing?

This is a really old thread. Make sure you clear your cache

Good question. This is the first I've heard of that. I'd love to know the answer.

Did you also go to Site Admin > Performance and clear the Saved Pages?

Could you put your Gallery into debug mode and post back when that's been done?

Hmmm, it claims to be loading a template that's been updated and I can see that the show date setting has been set to false. Try turning off all the performance settings in G2. Site Admin > Performance and be sure to clear saved pages from that page too.

Ah ha. Perhaps it was "Template caching". I'm not seeing dates now.

Yes. But I never checked that link. See, I "knew" how to clear my cache. Unfortunately, I thought you were referring to my browser cache. And so...
