This release takes care of a wide range of problems from minor install issues to a fairly serious security bug. With any luck it'll be the last point release we do of version 1.0. I recommend that you upgrade to this version ASAP.Highlights:

  • Worked around a PHP bug that is causing some users to be unable to put Gallery back in secure mode after configuring.

  • Fixed a bug that caused the highlight photo to look soft.

  • Greatly improved the efficiency of the rotate photo functionality. This may require you to upgrade to the latest version of the NetPBM-Gallery package (the wizard will tell you).

Thanks to all the folks out there who have allowed me to debug these problems directly on their webservers -- you've helped to make Gallery a much more stable product.
