"Connection was reset" on cart access

Kind folks,

I'd had some weird authentication problems with Gallery 2 and ultimately only fixed 'em with a new operating system (don't ask) -- so I'm still getting the pieces back together, but it's working. Mostly.

I -think- I had the cart up and running recently, but I couldn't swear to it. I recently updated all the modules and now I get a "The connection was reset" message in Firefox. I get nothing -- and I mean nothing -- in the Apache logs, nothing in error and nothing in access.

This is happening with links like gallery2/main.php?g2_view=cart.ViewCart&g2_itemId=12345

Any ideas where to start trying to figure this one out?

Mike

put gallery into debug mode
FAQ: How to set/use Gallery in debug mode?
get firebug
and turn error reporting on in gallery2/config.php

Err -- found out I was still on 2.3.0 in the midst of this. My bad -- let me try again.

Nope, neither Deprecated nor Warning would interrupt page display.(which is why we hide them w/ @ini_set('display_errors', 0);

But if your ultimate destination for this gallery is not on your local system, I would not bother troubleshooting it there.

2.3.1 at least cured some of the problems -- cart is indeed working. I can turn debugging and errors back on if needed, but it looks like that did it.

I'm sorry for the hassle -- I was reading 2.3 something 1.3 as like 2.3.1, otherwise I would've tried that ... first! =)

Supr, as always, you have been a scholar and a gentleman.
