Hi,
What if you want to change this:

"Changé09/28/03." (French)

to this:

"Changé le 28/09/03." (True French ;-)

For the text ‘Changé’ to ‘Changé le’ edit the French po-file or ask the French translation team if they can do that.
For the date-format take a look at the PHP documentation

The date format (09/28/03) is based on what the computer you are running on thinks is appropriate for the language/locale. Unfortunately, these often seem to be wrong.

You will be able to customize the date in 1.4.1
