Gallery in Xaraya

Hi,

with coming nearer to the final version of the CMS Xaraya (www.xaraya.com) are there any plans, any thoughts on how to implement Gallery (G1 / G2) in Xaraya? Are there any starting points which scripts to modify to work with?

Hi Danny.

We *definitely* plan to support Xaraya in the near future.
Nobody that I'm aware of has started work on this, but it should be fairly straightforward to implement, and would slot in as does PostNuke or PHP-Nuke right now.

For G1, the dev. team just has other priorities right now, so we can't spend much time on this as of right now. But when we get cracking on G2 embedding in CMSes, Xaraya will *definitely* be on the list.

One question for Joan, it is for me no problem to connect Gallery to the User Database of Xaraya, but how to provide a "Single Logon"? Can I Logon a User via an URL, or what method do you prefer to supply Gallery the credentials of Xaraya??

Hi Becket,

one thing I forgot to mention is, that I think the hooks system of Xaraya is absolute perfect and unique to all CMS. If you need a beta tester for the Gallery functions in Xaraya, drop me a note. ;-)

But there is no need to rush. Right now I'm not working on a project for live and death. ;-)
