Sorry if this topic has been here before, but I just wonder how I can use my existing phpbb userdatabase to Gallery? I'm not techical of me so some help here would be great Hope someone can help me Best Regards, |

i am working on an integration of phpBB2 into gallery or gallery into phpBB2.
It will be in 1.4.1

What about just using the database? Not intergrating the two together, just sharing the same user info...???

sorry, i was a little unprecise.
The Integration is like whats done with phpnuke or postnuke.
If Gallery runs embedded in phpBB2 it will use its database.

this is EXACTLY what I am looking for. i use gallery 1.4.1 and phpbb 2.06 - is this available now? if so, where and how?
I also use phpmychat, and have a download (yet to install) that will integrate that app with phpbb as well - will these all work together ina somewhat seamless way? is there a better way to do this? I am still such a php newbie, dont even know what to ask...

i'm no php newb. I'm already running gallery, and would like to integrate a forum into gallery. so ideally i'd like phpBB to use the already available gallery db. but if you're going the other way around I suppose that's ok.

Hi,
there is an existing Developer Version of Gallery 1.4.2 which uses the phpBB2 Database.
There is and will be no way that phpBB2 will use Gallery UserDB.
