Hi all,
Just built a new Fedora core 13 servaer and when installling Gallery 2 i keep getting the message... The directory you entered does not exist. The directory... /Storage/g2data does exist and I have set all the rights to rwx as well as set owner and group to apcahe. Storage is a second drive mounted off of the root.
Any ideas would be great.
Thank you
Brian

Storage Setup
Gallery needs a directory to store your images. The directory we chose for you will work, but its location or current name does not provide maximum security. Either select a new directory outside of the document root directory or add a random string to the end of the directory name (e.g. g2data_2e232d250e).
For maximum security you should pick a directory that is not web accessible. If this is not possible, specify a randomized name for this directory.
If you're using a modern browser, we'll try to autocomplete any path you enter here. So if you're having trouble finding the right path to your g2data directory, try experimenting with paths in the text box below and see what completions it provides for you.
The directory you entered does not exist

Your webserver needs to be able to write to this directory. To get it working, you can follow these examples.
Note: these are only examples! You may find that they don't work quite right on your system.
Unix (with shell access)
$ mkdir /Storage/g2data/
$ chmod 777 /Storage/g2data/

Check that you don't have any open_basedir restrictions.

I tried working with setting that. It didn't work. It is currently back at default with the same results

Right now, I can only suggest to try and see if it's working when using a local directory instead of a mounted drive to rule that out.
