Need help with upgrade

	I have gallery2 on a really old computer and I just installed gallery2 on a different computer. I successfully backed up the database through site admin/site maintenance tab and it created an *.xml file. I tried to import the .xml file through phpmyadmin into the the database of the new computer and copy the photos over but it did not work. I think I am doing something wrong, can somebody help? thanks.

	I just want to be able to save the comments, number of views, and album creation date. Would I be able to do upload the pictures through the website's upload photo option, and then add a certain file that stores the comments, number of views, and album creation date?
