Other Gallery Software for Use with Drupal

Given that it seems the current maintainer of Drupal's Gallery 2 integration is no longer actively developing it, and that it seems unlikely we will have a release of Gallery 3 ready for integration when Drupal 7 launches, I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with any other image galleries that integrate well with Drupal.

I have two main requirements:

1) Integrates with Drupal 6 and has a pledge to release a Drupal 7 version shortly after D7 ships.
2) Has support for something like Gallery Remote, ideally with export modules for iPhoto, Aperture and/or Lightroom.

An extra feature would be the ability to support migration from Gallery 2.

There are a few new Drupal sites I need to launch in the next few weeks that need to be D7 ready (all for community based non-profits with low/no development budgets - I am doing it pro bono). Unfortunately, nothing I have seen gives me any hope that it will be possible either with Gallery 2 (no Drupal 7 support) or Gallery 3 (not clear when it will ship, no Drupal support at all).

I really loved Gallery 2 and its integration with Drupal. At some point, I hope Gallery 3 is competitive with it. Until then I need an alternative.
