Login screen as main screen

Hi!,

I have a Gallery embed on my site, I modified all the permissions and only registered and logged users can see all my albums. But I'd like to know how to make the login screen as main screen, despite the default screen with the "This album is empty" message. I've searched all the forum and have no answers.

I need help with this useless screen.

Your English is perfectly fine and actually, you don't need to apologise for it anyway as G2 uses American which despite superficial similarities, is a totally different language from English.

As for your issue, Have you tried removing "Everybody" permissions from the root album itself?

Yes, I did. All my albums have the permissions for "Registered Users". So, Gallery show that message to unregistered people. if there were a way to change that screen and make the login screen the welcome screen...

I have seen some forum threads discussing the topic but all related to earlier versions of gallery.

If you are not seeing the login page then one of the following is happening

1. You have not removed the permissions for the everybody group. SOLUTION: Remove the everybody permission for all albums including the root album and only grant to registered users
2. You are looking at the gallery while still logged in. SOLUTION: Log out and recheck. This may include logging out of the CMS G2 is embedded into.
3. You are looking at a page cached by your browser or server. SOLUTION: Flush your cache or try looking on another machine for browser cache, Flush your cache for server cache.

One of the three situations applies to you so you need to figure which one it is out and apply the required solution.
Note that there is no if, buts or special case for you where you have done these and it still doesn't work. If it doesn't work then one or more of the three issues is the reason.

I made all your 3 suggestions and none of them worked. I still see this screen

I'm afraid there is not solution for this :(
