I' ve installed Gallery3 with module basket i want to translate the phrase "Add To Basket" from English to Italian ... thanks Giancarlo Piccinini |

No file to change, translations are easy in G3. I'm still working on a tutorial (just need to sit down and do it) but here is a guideline:

I' ve done what you said me to do following the indications in this link: http://gallery.menalto.com/node/97672
but it didn't translate the sentence ( "Add to basket") I would like to render...
I' ve also sent the translation in the network!

Ah, just dug into that. That would be because it's incorrectly hard coded in /modules/basket/views/add_to_basket.html.php (line 7)
Either change that text there or make the change I recommend here: http://gallery.menalto.com/node/90636?page=2#comment-351865 and all should be fine
