Hi there,

I have IPv6 enabled, and gallery.menalto.com has an IPv6 address set up. However, the IPv6 address it points to isn't responding to http, so the site loads extremely slowly for me. If you're currently not actively working on this (it's been broken for at least a week) then maybe you should remove the IPv6 address from DNS?

$ dig +short aaaa gallery.menalto.com
2001:470:1:12d::252

$ ping6 2001:470:1:12d::252
PING 2001:470:1:12d::252(2001:470:1:12d::252) 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 2001:470:1:12d::252: icmp_seq=1 ttl=61 time=52.8 ms
64 bytes from 2001:470:1:12d::252: icmp_seq=2 ttl=61 time=45.8 ms
^C
--- 2001:470:1:12d::252 ping statistics ---
2 packets transmitted, 2 received, 0% packet loss, time 1001ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 45.875/49.352/52.829/3.477 ms

$ telnet 2001:470:1:12d::252 80
Trying 2001:470:1:12d::252...
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection timed out

Thanks!

Maybe someone just needs to cycle our apache? Or perhaps in addition, it needs to be told to listen on ipv6 addresses.

Hey thanks for the update. Looks like the firewall was set up to drop packets a little too aggressively. I've update it and you should be able to get through now. It's working for me from my test ipv6 client -- can you test it out for us? Thanks!

Note that if you have an IPV6 address but no IPV6 route to gallery.menalto.com (i.e. You're on a Mac behind and Apple router which does IPV6 automatically, but your ISP doesn't support IPV6), things will be super slow around here.

Disable IPV6 in your router or on your system and you'll be a lot happier.
