New to Gallery2 and need some advice.

Hey guys, I have been using Gallery 2 for about a month now and have a few questions I am hoping someone can help me with. 1. I have a few sponsor ads on my Gallery, in the header, left toolbar, and a few in the footer. Now when the window is maximized on my computer everything looks exactly the way I want everyone else to see it. However if I re-size the window everything starts to move around and find new spots to stay in the window. this is kind of weird. Most websites I have visited do not do this. How can I fix this issue? 2 I would love to have a place that is seen on every page, from albums to photos, that I can post updates and news. Would really love for it to be on the right hand side of the page, just below the header buttons, in kind of a skyscraper fashion. Is there a way to do this? I have installed custom fields on my Gallery but I can't seem to figure out how to use it and don't really know if it is what I would need anyway. 3. Is there any way to make user photos approved by me before they are posted. My gallery is open to the public, and while I have had no issues yet I would really like to keep "shady" material off my site if at all possible. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!! |

1. hard to diagnose and make suggestions without seeing the site.
2. Again hard to tell what you have done already and what theme you are using. there is some module to add various 'bits' code and adverts so you have to start with them. Perhaps a custom theme is the way to go.
Have you looked at http://www.flashyourweb.com/staticpages/index.php?page=gallery2_embed-o-rator it might be what you area after to embed the site.
3. I thought there as a moderate module. What have you tried?

I am using the Matrix theme if that helps any. I am also using the black color pack. Everything else is pretty much stock aside from the ads which I manually placed in the local folder I created with the theme.tpl, and sidebar.tpl with the codes given to me by my sponsors. I have just downloaded the moderator plugin and will see how that goes. With any luck it will solve the #3 issue.
