Very simple/straightforward question that's probably been asked a million times before.
Is it possible to create standalone "pages" like one can in Wordpress, for example.
Basically I'm looking to use Gallery as the backbone for an image-based website but also want to have
"home, about, contact, links" pages as well as the "gallery".

Gallery is not a CMS, but you can embed it in many CMSs or embed it in your own php pages.

Hi suprsidr
Thanks for your reply.
Yeah, I know, I'm not really looking for a massive CMS solution here, just a simple "page" option, if such a thing exists.
The site, as it exists now, is a straight XHTML site linked to a /gallery section. This gallery section template is customised to look exactly like the XHTML pages.
The obvious solution would be to use a CMS system for the client to be able add and edit text content, then embed the gallery code as you so said.
Thing is that would mean also having to create a theme for the CMS first.
Before I go ahead and do that I'd rather just see if I can do it all in Gallery first.
Ideas and solutions welcome.

or just edit your gallery theme to include your menu and links.
