I'm not sure if this is in the right place on the forum, but hopefully it is.

How do the watermarks work? Do they need to be a certain size/pixels/inches/etc.?

I usually add my own copyright information to my photos, but if this extra step can be avoided, that would be HUGE.

Thanks!

Also, another random question: I noticed that in looking at my albums while not logged in, there is an option to purchase the images. How do I eliminate this option from all of my albums at once?

@watermarks: http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery2:Modules:watermark
@ecommerce: Disable and or uninstall the module responsible for that. There is a few different ones so can't tell you what one.

Rather than start a new thread, it seems I'm having trouble with this watermark thing. I have uploaded a PNG, and when I'm in the "Watermark" tab of the Edit Photo function, I can clearly see the watermark. However, I don't see the watermark when viewing the photo either as an admin or guest.

Thoughts?

Have you rebuilt the thumbs and resizes? Site Admin > Maintenance or just at the album level by clicking on Edit Album > Album (tab)

Somebody was making helpful suggestions in a thread recently about using a gif instead - (wasn't it Nivekiam) - maybe you could try that.

Tried a .gif and it didn't work. Again, it shows up in the edit photo tab but not once I save changes and go back to the actual image.

Also, especially on vertical images, it seems the watermark will now actually work, but while in Edit mode the watermark is centered, once I leave that mode and just view the image's page, the watermark falls off the side of the photo.
