Thanks chris Hi, Recently your account was utilizing excessive resources and putting load on server, making it unstable. Details are as follows: A detail of the problem is shown below as: CPU: 8.45 % photo159 photobychris.com 8.45 0.48 0.2 As a result, we had to rename your script /gallery2/main.php to /gallery2/main.php.disabled Please check your scripts are optimized and up to date. We would suggest to please look into the script's functionality and update it so such issues should not reoccur. + Refresh capture dates |

you got 5,000+ items in public view, not sure how many more in private or password protected areas., like seriously, find another host and try not to use GD (might be one of the culprits with the high usage) - use a more robust graphics toolkit like NetPBM or Imagemagick - ask them if they have it available, else, move out. you with LunarPages or a reseller? also, please consider upgrading to Gallery 2.3.1 for security reasons. important!! |

the toolkit is responsible for generating thumbnails, and resized versions from uploaded items including video files. ask support if ImageMagick is available, and/or allowed to install it yourself via FTP or from within their control panel. ___________________________________________________ |

You're not the first I've see to have problems with Lunar pages. Find a different host, seriously. These guys way over sell their under powered, mis-configured servers. But seriously, we'd need to know more about what's going on on your site. How many visitors and page views, etc do you get? If you're a typical site and only get a small hand full of visitors per day, then there's no reason at all that Gallery would be consuming resources other than their servers are overloaded to begin with. |
