I would like to not display the image name, date uploaded, views, owner, etc for all of the images in the galleries. The only thing I'd like to show on the galleries themselves is the number of images in them. Is there a setting in the admin for this (I haven't been able to find it) or do I have to edit the actual code?
Everything is unchecked in "image block settings" but that didn't change anything.
Thanks!
Michelle

Oh, and I did do a search btw, I posted because I found the settings under "image block settings" but when I unchecked them, the information still showed, and so I wasn't sure if that was a bug or if there was something else I needed to do as well. Just wanted to clarify because I know it is frustrating when the same questions get asked over and over...

have to go per album so select the root albums (top most) Edit Album > Theme (tab) > make sure to save settings
what theme are you using, btw? try Siriux

The imageblock settings only control the imageblock, they don't control the theme settings. Some themes have hardcoded the display of info.
Look at the template files that your theme uses for some settings.

I'm using Floatrix
I'll look for the hard code settings. Thanks!
