I've recently installed Gallery3 from FreeBSD 8x ports collection. How can I add files from my local server as I did with Gallery2?

Thanks. I've been to the G3 modules page, but don't see the "AddItems" module which is what G2 used. Is there another module I should use?

Correct. G2 and G3 are 2 completely different products. The only thing they share in common is getting approximately the same thing done (Your photos on your website)

Other than that they share nothing in common. G3 is a total rewrite from the ground up to hopefully create something easier to use and extend.

G3 is still beta and is only for testing at this time.
When we have more polished product we will get round to removing the G1 stuff and adding G3 stuff.

Care to volenteer to make a check-list of the items we should link to on the main page?

Dace

RC is not beta. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_release_life_cycle#Release_candidate

Checklist:

Download link RC1 (or latest official release)
Download link latest build
Link to modules
Link to themes
Link to documentation
Link to FAQ

Beta, gamma or whatever, I am using it in production. Hoping for a much much faster final product (without benchmarking and other bloat).
