how can i create the resized image and save them in some folder?

I am trying to use Gallery2 for a photo album. but What ever image i put in i need hte images to be resized and saved some where so that, the path of saved images can be fed in the xml file which i will access from another system. Is there any module which would save the resized images and thumbnails rather than dynamically generate them when the user puts it there and views.. thanks in advance |

i tried gallery3 and hte resized image creation was sloved and i'm very happy but ther user administration is not much impressive as only two admin are there only authenticated or admin i would like to have another type of user with ( for gallery3) authority to upload create new album and photos and view other user's album and photos.. I think it would be better to post in gallery3 forum which i didn't find thelink yet .. but i'll keep on searching but who ever visits it gallery 3 is way enhanced... currently searhing for modules for gallery 3 or equivalent if available..
