Why use Gallery?

	I am trying to convince a customer to use Gallery for his digital media library requirements, but their IT department want to use Microsoft Sharepoint. The trouble is, I don't know much about Sharepoint, other than it is a collaboration tool for documents (that can also handle images). Can anyone help me construct a valid and convincing argument, pros/cons, [biased] feature comparison etc?

	I think you/your customer should try both. Maybe Gallery (2, or 3) is totally inappropriate for their needs, and nobody here can advise on that.
