Cannot reorder top albums in my gallery

I cannot change the order of the top gallery albums, although the reorder pop-up works great for the internal galleries.

In addition, I cannot change the number of albums presents on the top page.

I know that the 1st issue is a bug fixed in newer versions.. but is it possible to receive only the code that solves those issues? since my gallery is very modified it'll be hard for me to install a fresh copy/upgrade.
