Problems Backing up g2data folder

I have a couple of related questions about the g2data folder. First I'm trying to back up the g2data folder from the server and I just noticed that inside the g2data folder, is another g2data folder! How did that happen and what should I do with it? This second g2data folder doesn't appear in my local testing setup. My file structure looks like this on the server: gallery2/g2data/g2data Secondly, when I try to download either of the those two g2data folders, I get an error message that reads: 'Server response: %%283795998: Forbidden command argument.' The file that's being referenced is apparently in the smarty/templates_c folder How should I handle this issue? Should I contact the hosting company? Thanks for the help. |

2nd install? Some other install went bad? Migration from one server to another? Who knows. But Gallery wouldn't have done it without being pointed to do it during an install.
You can check which on you're using by opening up config.php in any text editor.
