Hello,
I'm trying to install Gallery onto my website via Fantastico. But when I try to fill in "Install In Directory" with site1/pictures it won't let me. Just "pictures" worked, but I don't want it just in that directory. I want it in site1/pictures. I deleted it in "pictures" because I just was testing to see if that would work. Why can't I put it in "site1/pictures"?

Or if some could direct me to a easy step by step on how to install it manually... Thank you

Talk to your host. We can't support some wacky setting or configuration from Fantastico.

Or try manually installing Gallery. Might I suggestion using G2 instead of G1 though because G1 is no longer developed and supported less and less. While G2 still has support for awhile to come and has supported integrations into a lot of different packages. Even though G2 also isn't in active development, it's still supported.
