Carbon Theme Link Changes

Good morning all,

I am looking for some assistance/information on how to change the linking structure of G2. I am also wanting to ask a question about 'Gallery Information"

First question.

Using the Carbon theme, G2 linking system works like this.

Album image opens album with all images. Clicking a single image opens the image with smaller thumbnails to the right. For example.

Album
http://202.45.154.22/~models/gallery/main.php

When Clicked, you get this screen
http://202.45.154.22/~models/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=18

When you click an image you get this screen (note thumbnails on the right)
http://202.45.154.22/~models/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=12

What I am wanting to do is bypass the middle link, so it goes this this:

Album
http://202.45.154.22/~models/gallery/main.php

Image
http://202.45.154.22/~models/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=12

Is it possible to modify G2 to allow this?

Additionally, is it possible to replace the information on the final link (above), in this case image file name and date, with the GALLERY description?
