change the quality of the thumbnail

Hello,

My thumbs are verry big in filesize (40/50 kb)
thumbsize is 240x240.
using ImageMagick 6.3.7 as toolkit to convert the images to quality 75 jpg.

I can change the quality to something lower.
But then the bigger resized images will also be converted to al lower jpg quality.
I want my bigger converted images to stay at quality 75 and the thumbs to something lower.

I watched the options but could not find anyting. And in modules/ImageMagick I could not find a difference between converting thumbs or bigger images.

I there a way to increase the quality of the thumbs?

There is no setting that is independant of the thumb and resizes. I guess you could find where those values are used the the toolkit code and hardcode your values.
