mess - new host and domain and can't restore gallery

Hello
I had an old gallery install (not sure what version about 3yr old) and I've transferred my domain to a new host and I'm rebuilding the content of my primary site on a wordpress blog. Problem is that when I did this I lost the hosting of my gallery from the old site. I'm on go daddy now and did install gallery 2 and have files of my old albums but I can't restore the old gallery - just don't know how. And I'm attempted to just ftp the old album files into the new install and the album show in my host but nothing on my gallery. Finally attempted to use gallery remote to mass upload all the many pics and just start over but the install keeps failing on my 64bit windows vista system. Suggestions? I really liked gallery but can't seem to start over with it.

Unless you have both your old database and g2data there's nothing we can do.

To do a mass update/upload try uploading the files via SFTP and use the Add From Local Server method:
