I had a photography web site built for me some time ago. Gallery v1 was used. I have had feedback on my site over time and a common theme is it would be better if the thumbnails were along the side instead of at the bottom (they don't show up for some people with out scrolling). I think this change makes sense, but I am totally new to this so I don't know if this is possible. I would prefer to put the thumbnails to the right if possible, but left will do if right is a problem.
Can somebody advise if this is doable and if so, point me in the right direction?
thanks

There was a few customization to make G1 have more rows/columns on the root album.
I guess you need to show an example / screen-shot of what you are after.

When inside a gallery and looking at an individual image, there is a thumbnail strip at the bottom. I would like to have it along the right side. Here is an example page from my site. My screen resolution is 1024x768. At this resolution (or smaller of course), the thumbnails don't completely show without scrolling. I would like to move the thumbnails to the right of the main picture so that they are always showing.

Is this possible?

Strange, I used the image button to include an image. Let's try a different way, using the link button.

This takes you to a page in the gallery where you see the thumbnails at the bottom.
Thanks

I don't recall seeing a modification for G1 that has the micro thumbs on the side.
It should be a simple modification if you know some HTML.
You would need to modify the view_photo. file. I don't have a G1 version that I can find right now to assist much further.
