Gallery 2 combining with jQuery GalleryView, is that possible?

Hi All,

Am a first time poster in the forum. First things first, Gallery is an awesome application/system. I love it.

I have been using for my personal gallery for a long time now.

Which leads me to my question:

Is it possible to combine Gallery 2 and jQuery GalleryView slideshow?

I have been reading the documentation for the 'ImageBlock' module and though that that might be a way to achieve that.

But the slider effect I want to achieve is something like this http://spaceforaname.com/gallery-dark.html

In addition to that I want to be able to dynamically update the thumbnails that come from gallery and then, when clicked on the main/larger image is to be shown.

I am a rookie with coding, so any guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the referral over to flashyourweb.com. I did visit the site before and I like the presented options there.

Maybe I haven't read all of the Forum threads over there yet, but i can't seem to find the option that will give me the similar 'function' or 'effect' like from the jQuery site.

basic summary is that i want to be able to display a 'horizontal' scroll option of thumbnails, with the main image displayed on top.

of course images are being held inside Gallery 2. :)

Great work to the Dev team in creating and updating Gallery :).

Definitely worth donating to.
