Newbie question - theme documentation

Hello, how and where can I learn how to create new gallery 2 theme ? Ihave read this:
http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery2:Themes:How_to_Create_a_New_Theme (and some more pages about theme structure, .inc file etc) but it is still hard to make a new theme to me, this guide seems to be very short. I have examples from this guide (css, html, inc) but it seems these files require more work to become gallery 2 template.
Isn't there other, more rich documentation ? Where can I start and what should I read ? (I have some html/css knowledge at this moment).

It is best to modify an exsisting theme that is similar to what you want. There is good docs for creating a copy/clone of an existing theme.
Then ask specific questions on where you get stuck.

Ok, I'll try this way, although it is a bit like groping for an answer - because I don't even know .inc file anathomy (it is explained on the page in a very short way).

Although I hope that I can reach my goal and have my theme with help from all of You ;)

There is also visual embedding.
Where you basically setup the page structure using your site's header/footer and sidebars and decide where gallery appears within that page structure.
I have an easy form to help.
