Bug in Gallery Remote?

When uploading photos using the gallery remote, I was getting a number of HTTP 500 Interna; server errors After som etesting I realized that all the photos were rotated. When I turned off the "Rotate Picture Automatically" setting in the EXIF/IPTC Settings section, the files loaded perfectly using the gallery remote. is this a bug in the software? dave |

It's a combination of a lot of things. Images from some cameras will work just fine, others won't. If GR is doing rotation along with Gallery doing rotation it can cause problems and confusion there as well.
I don't have Gallery rotate my images because I could ever get consistent results. For instance if you use in image editor to edit a photo, including rotating it and that image editor doesn't change the rotation setting in EXIF (few seem do this) then Gallery will rotate it once again and you'll end up with a messed up image.
