[Solved] Viewing tags on a photo/album

I'm looking for a way to (easily) tell what tags are applied to a photo or an album. All I've been able to find with 3.0b3, is that when you 'Edit Photo' or 'Edit Album' you can see the list of tags that have been applied.

Searching through the forum, I see where several other people have asked for the same thing, always pointed to http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/gallery/ticket/401. Problem is, that was closed as a duplicate of ticket 80, and ticket 80 is about adding tags, not about letting them be viewed after having been applied.

So, is there a plan, or some way that I haven't yet discovered, to get them to show up?

What I had hoped to find, was a way to have them show right below the add tag box...kinda like this (please excuse the ascii art)

peter bonnie april SUSAN mike

------------- Add Tag to photo/album Add Tag

john,mike,susan,noah

Where the actual tags on the photo (as displayed in the 'edit photo' screen would be "john, mike, susan, noah".

The tagging and tag cloud are great, however, I'm looking for ways to facilitate adding more tags without duplicating them. For example, in a group picture, someone may add the names of two of the people that they know are in there, and other users can add the names of the other people that they can identify.

Thanks!

Mike

See if this does what you are after:

I will get round to making a codex page when time permits.

Dave,
At the risk of getting 'pointed at' for double posting, can you tell me what little piece of code needs to get put into the theme to show the results? I have the mod installed and activated.

Thanks Dave!

It's very close to what I was asking for, although installing it has shown me that I have other ideas. All I need to do now, is figure out how to re-order modules. I want the tags to appear right after Photo Info and before the rss feeds and the popular-tag module.

I'll do some reading, looking for how to do that now :) (Unless someone wants to give me a quick pointer, nudge nudge, wink wink)

@griffinmt, if you are using an experimental version that has the sortable sidebar; 3rd party modules will need to be updated.
@allnight, a recent experimental version has sortable sidebar items, however 3rd party module will have to be updated to use the new feature.
