Adding a border to photos

Hi

Been searching for an answer to this on the forums and can't seem to find a straight forward answer, I want to add a 1px white border to all of my photos. Could somebody tell me where in the CSS or the theme.tpl or photo.tpl i would set this, i can't seem to find a setting in the login admin area of the gallery to do this...

I'm using the matrix theme with blue bottle colour theme which have both been customised

First I'd look into upgrading your Gallery. 2.1 is very old and has known security issues that have been fixed since then.
FAQ: How to upgrade Gallery2?

I don't know if this is available for 2.1, but check out ImageFrames:
http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery2:Modules:imageframe

Once that's installed, it's pretty easy to create a frame that you want.

yep we're planning to update the gallery in the future

Thanks for that - installed ok

i couldn't work out where to edit the solid style so i created a new style
