Config help needed please

What i've done:
-downloaded gallery-1.3.1.tar.gz from sourceforge
-unzipped and ftp'ed to a newly created dir "destiny" which is a subdomain
-created config.php and .htacces
-set them both to 777

Have ftp'ed netPBM also but deleted again since it didn't work. I am confused to which netpbm and jhead versions I should install, could someone help me out on this ?
Read in an other topic that it would be best to ftp the both to the root.

Can someone help me, I've read and tried just about everything and it still wont work.

It must be something obvious, but it isn't to me.

I'm having a nervous breakdown :grin:

Problem solved !

After typing the path for netpbm and jhead you need to go to page three, four.....etc

What I did after typing the path, was going back to page one to see if the error was gone.

Am I now the newbie of the month :wink:

Don't beat yourself up too much. Even though I put a lot of effort into it, the config wizard can still be pretty confusing when things don't go perfectly. :sad: sigh.
