Gallery 2 could be used to duplicate the concept below at the URL that I pasted below. I am a jeweler and want to feature my jewelry with thumbnails across the bottom of the web page and a large high resolution photo above. If anyone could please visit the Tiffany.com page URL that I have list below to see what I am referring to. This is the exact concept I am trying to accomplish. I would be willing to pay someone to help me with this . I am interested in it being HTML based because I want it to be SEO friendly. Please advise.

Short answer, yes. But I think it would be a hell of a lot of work.
Don't know what's running on your site right now, but I might take a look at:

It's a plugin for WordPress. So you'd need to be using WordPress, which tends to have many security holes so if you go that route make sure you read up on securing WordPress installs and be sure to keep it up to date.
I've seen sites that look very similar to Tiffany's built using some of the additional plugins for that e-Commerce plugin.
