Trouble with GR 0.3

A family member was using GR 0.3 sucessfully for sometime. I have doon some upgrades, with problems discussed in other forums, but that didn't seem to cause a problem with GR. Lately though the following behavior is happening for her. She will log in and seleect files to upload. [Fetch folders works fine] they will upload at the appropiate speed but then that is it they don't appear. I have downgraded my machine to GR .3 and it works fine. She changed machiens and installed it on her new machine and has the same problem. I even tried having her log in as me. Has anyone had simelar problems? I don't want to have her goto 1.0 yet as it doesn't seem quite stable enough.

I don't understand... Do you and your friends have problems with 1.0 preview, 0.4 or 0.3?

I just reread my first message... I must have written when I was half asleep. Sorry about that. My sister is having trouble with GR 0.3 such that she can log on and fetch an album list but uploading doesn't work, it appears to work and no error message is given yet the pictures don't show up in the album directory. GR0.3 used to work for her just fine. She has tried installeding GR on a different machine, and has the same problem. We swapped user accounts to no avail. I am just curious if anyone has experienced a simelar problem. Recently I had upgraded gallery versions, are recent versions of gallery no longer able to support GR0.3? Now that there is a beta of 1.0 that doesn't have the log in problem I'll have her try upgrading and and lest try to get a log even if things don't work.

Are you perhaps running RedHat Linux 7.3, with the most recent php from updates.redhat.com?

I'm suffering from a similar problem right now; on GR 1.0 there's a status bar at the bottom of the window that shows "Upload Error: Protocol out of Date. < 1" (it's hard to read; it appears to be greyed out). :cry:

For logging and versions of PHP that I'm using, please read the info my post.
