Can't rotate photos in gallery

I am logged in as administrator, but cannot rotate photos. The progress ring comes on and looks like it is working, but when it finishes the photos are unchanged.

Is there any kind of error message in your gallery/var/logs/ folder?

Also upgrade to an experimental version to see if that helps:
