Throughout the rest of my website I've got flash text as buttons, I'd really like to continue this into gallery by putting it into the header. I know how to insert things into the header so that not my problem. My problem is, however, that when I insert my .swf into the code and then load the gallery page, it either
1.takes forever for it to load
2. shows a very large white background
3. shows a small white box with a red 'x'

Or sometimes a combination.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do this. I currently have regular old hyperlinks, they look pretty plain... see for your self - http://www.loracartworks.com/gallery

Thx.

Hi there...

I don't know if you still need help with this, and I don't know if this will really help, but here goes...

I use my gallery in a site with flash buttons as well. I designed my site with dreamweaver, using templates. So I paste tall the template information into the header so that my gallery is 'wapped' in the same layout as my whole site. When I first did this, I was getting the same problems you are getting. I had to go to the flash code that and make sure that the website was pointing to the correct place for the images I had created. Bottomline: make sure everything is pointing to the right place.

Take a look at my websites - I have done this with two sites so far:
http://www.villageatcopper.com/gallery
http://www.andrewsamerica.com/gallery

Using the DW templates and the html_wrapper from Gallery is pretty darn easy! I love it!

Hope that helps a little bit at least...

Kathy

PS
I don't know if you have your website set up this way on purpose, but I didn't notice a link to your Gallery from the main navigation on the home page, or other pages, but you have the links from the Gallery out to other pages.
