Activated modules not showing under content tabs? Can't change settings.

I have a fresh install of G3 Beta 2. I downloaded the latest batch of modules from the link provided here. I unzipped and uploaded them to the modules directory. Next I went into the admin > modules section and activated some of them. For some reason, they activate but I cannot change any settings for them.

For example, I wanted to use the tagmaps module, but I cannot configure anything because it is now showing under the Content tab.

Any idea why modules will activate but not show up anywhere in the admin dashboard?

I would start with using an experimental version:

i just ran the update. says i'm updated to the latest version. tried activating a module, still no-go.

maybe i should fresh install from the latest experimental version?

alright so i did a fresh install of the experimental version, everything seems to be working now. thanks for the suggestion!
