View Counter only for non-local IP addresses?

I am more interested to know what the view count is for galleries and items as viewed by people outside of my private network than I am in the count of local network accesses. To that end, is there a switch or some sort of filter to filter out all view requests that originate from the private network? (i.e. 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x or whatever?)

No switch, you're going to have to hack code or review your server's access logs and process them with something like awstats.
