Is there a way to delete selected groups of pictures?

i am trying to organize my product images, etc.

is there away i can delete selected groups of pictures at once?

Not in B2, but if you load the latest code http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery3:Upgrading click Options > Organize

While that menu is there in B2, the functionality doesn't work well.

I actually don't see that option at all in Options > Organize
Just re-arrange the photos...

Then you're not using G3, or you're using a very old version that I can't even recall how it was worded, but it's been under Options > Organize since at least B1.

Then login as admin. Click on the Options menu, then click on Organize Album. However, if you're using a git pull from today, er yesterday (2009/08/28) then it won't work. As massive changes for the organize modules have been committed to the main code base and some of the advanced functions are not in there yet. Like selecting a bunch of photos and deleting them.

It use to work, but not much else worked in the Organize module. The devs are working on it now and will/should have something more available in the coming days.

Yeah, that functionality should come back. They're focusing on just getting the organizing part working good first.

As a shot term measure ( just like when G2 was in its infancy ) you can move the items to a temp album and delete the temp album.
