I have problem with Finnish characters ä and ö in Finnish translation.

They show as "a and "o.

How this could be corrected?

can you give me an URL to your Gallery ?
And a URL to a phpinfo of your Gallerys Server ?

It's on shared host using FreeBSD.

Hi,

i can not reproduce it on my system...
but can you download this Finnish Language Pack for Gallery 1.4
Just replace your existing files with the files in the tarball.

i replaced all ä, ö, Ä with the html entities.
Hopefully this works.

It might be FreeBSD thing on this host. I will try install Gallery this week on another host that has Linux and see if I can get it work there. You have in German same letters ä and ö in use so it is a bit odd...

I am a bit confused, but I would say that your new Finnish language pack did help. There are so many proxies and caches between me and web-host, that changing those files didn't have any affect at first.

But now ä and ö are shown right.

On another host with Linux original files worked without problems.

Without joke: What is the problem ?
If you see a mixture of english and finnish, then its because its not complete.
I got no updates for finnish so far...

I posted the new finnish translation (fully translated one, at last) made from v1.5-RC2 finnish language file to Jens yesterday..maybe soon we'll get an updated language pack..

At this moment it seems that Gallery2 doesn't have any decent Finnish translation. Is there someone working with it?
