Hi!
I just installed Gallery 3 beta 1 for the first time (new at Gallery) I wanted another theme for my gallery than the default one and tried installing the Carbon theme from http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery2:Themes:carbon
I unpacked the file and uploaded the files to \themes\carbon\
But when i login to my gallery and try to open the Admin -> Appearance -> Theme Choice, i get an error message
(does this mean that these themes do are not supported in Gallery3?)
Dang... Something went wrong!
We tried really hard, but it's broken. Hey wait, you're an admin! We can tell you stuff.
Ok.. tell me stuff!

Hey man... I'm also a rookie, but I'll hazard this comment ~ It appears that the G3 team is building a brand new product from the ground up! Hence no G1 and G2 module/theme compatability. But hang in there man. I'm also waiting in anticipation for themes!

So when is Gallery3 supposed to be released? (or when will there be new themes created for this version?) A few weeks from now, a month, a year or?
Thinking of uninstalling v3 and install latest stable if there is no solution soon.

G2 themes are not compatible with G3 themes.
as for the release stay tuned beta 2 should be soon.
