Bug when copy URL from logged in session in FF to new session in IE

I logged into my gallery and browsed into a folder in which only a select few have permission.

I copied the URL into the clipboard.

I started a different web browser (E.g. IE if had been using Firefox before). Why? so that I wasn't logged in.

I pasted the URL and pressed enter to go there. I got the Gallery 'oops darn something went wrong' message.

I guess a better error message from the UI guys is in order, like a custom 404 page.
Please file a feature request for this. incorrect urls should return a 404 not a "ooops ..."
