So, i took the plunge, i moved from windows to FreeBSD. So far it seems i have gotten everything work properly, BUT gallery. What i did is i re-ran the setup to create a new config file, then moved all of my old albums over. Well, when i try to go to the gallery it says:
Attention Gallery Administrator!
Gallery has detected the following directories:
album04
album05
album03
album01
album02
in your albums directory (/usr/local/www/uberlamepostnuke/modules/gallery/albums).
These are not valid albums. Please move them out of the albums directory.
Is there anyway to make these valid albums again? I dont want to lose the comments nor the hit counts of all the images. We got linked by Penny Arcade, so there are some good comments and numbers on there. Some images had well over 15,000 views, it was cool stuffs. There has to be a way to make them valid. Is it because i went from a windows system to freebsd? Grrr, just when i thought everything moved over cleanly...
Well, any thoughts or tips will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million.

Try running "dos2unix" on your album.dat files; that should resolve at least some of your problems.
