users integration

Hello,
i'm trying wp 2.7 and wpg2 3.x
I would like to have the user registration and login only from wp interface.
Up to now i have just the admin user, the wpg2 plugin provide the user creation into the gallery2.
I don't know if the admin user is an exception, but i have called the administrator admin in both systems wp and gallery.
Changed the wp admin password, logged-out and logged-in due to make compatible the password encryption, tried again to change the password, but anyway the gallery admin password wasn't updated, and to manage the gallery i've to use another password. is it correct? or is it an issue? I missed something?
